APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID for the 2012-2013 Academic Year

We understand and appreciate the financial commitment you are making in sending your children to Sanford. Although paying for education is first and foremost your responsibility as parents, in awarding financial aid, we are joining you in your investment in your child’s education. Financial aid is awarded annually as a grant and does not have to be repaid. All families will be required to contribute some amount towards tuition.

Most financial aid is awarded in January. To be eligible for consideration for financial aid in the first round of awards, YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR PARENTS’ FINANCIAL STATEMENT (PFS) AND ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2011. See reverse side for instructions for Completing the Financial Aid Application Process. Failure to provide all of the requested information, meet deadlines, and communicate with the Admission Office may delay consideration of your application and even jeopardize your chance to receive aid. We will communicate decisions about financial aid when you receive an Enrollment Agreement.
