Commencement 2020

On Friday, June 5th, 71 seniors were honored during a virtual graduation ceremony, which featured a keynote address from Upper School faculty member Eric Peoples; student addresses from Jonathan Fritz, Brooke Hollander, and Alessandra Prezioso; musical selections by Greg Fleming & Ava Lafferty, Bella Warner, and Steven Xia; and the announcement of student award winners by Head of School Mark Anderson. Following the virtual ceremony, graduates signed pennants from the colleges they will be attending and received their diplomas in the Class of 1955 Amphitheater.

This year's celebration, marking Sanford's 84th Commencement, was a virtual event due to conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
