2023 Alumni Awards
The 2023 Alumni Awards took place during Homecoming Weekend. This special event allowed us to pay tribute to remarkable individuals who have made a lasting impact on the history of our school. We proudly recognized the outstanding achievements of Sandy Boucher '74, Logan Herring '00, and Karen Perkins.
Logan Herring '00 is a remarkable individual who has made a significant impact on Sanford School. Logan embodies excellence and fosters values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Logan served as a coach in soccer and basketball, inspiring countless student-athletes. His dedication to Sanford is evident through continued involvement, mentoring, and support for school initiatives.
Karen Perkins has held various roles at Sanford Middle School since 1980. Emily Amendum, the Head of Middle School, expressed her gratitude, saying, Dear Karen - You have enriched our lives and instilled in us the values of lifelong learning, proper grammar, friendship, and care for the Sanford community. Thank you for bringing laughter and light to all you do!
As a dedicated class agent, Sandy Boucher ‘74 has been instrumental in connecting with the classes of the early 1970s. Her contributions go beyond reconnecting with classmates; she has prioritized philanthropy for Sanford and advocated for others to join her. Sandy understands the importance of ensuring Sanford's financial health for future generations. Her leadership and commitment to giving back set an example for all alumni and community members.
