Sanford Has Strong Representation in Delaware Senior All-State Choir

Every year the Delaware Music Educators Association (DMEA) organizes All-State programs for those students in Delaware who participate in their school music programs.
Auditions for this year’s Senior All-State Choir were held on Saturday, November 18 at Smyrna High School. Eight Upper School students from Sanford were a part of the highly competitive audition process, and all eight students earned a spot in this year’s choir!

Congratulations to: Lily Allingham, Keeleigh Babcock, Olivia Brinn, Katie Bruxelles, Maddie Cooper, Chris Keiser, Rileigh Owens, and William Zimmer. These talented students will be rehearsing and performing February 22–24, 2018, in the Senior All-State Choir Concert, which will be held at Seaford High School. It’s not too early to mark your calendars for their free performance, which is open to the public, on February 24 at 7:00 PM.

The Sanford Upper School Choir is directed by Clint Williams, chair of the Performing Arts Department and past-president of the DMEA.
