Upper School

Sanford had so much more to offer compared to my other high school options. It has a diverse selection of clubs, extracurricular activities, and academics. My favorite part at Sanford is how college-like it is. I've never been to college before obviously, but the building-to-building walking, and the independence has got to be something I admire.

Admission Process for Grades 9-12

Complete the parent application and student questionnaire.
Submit writing sample
Request the following documents from your child's school after November 1:
- School Official Report - to be completed by your child's counselor, vice principal, or principal
- Report cards from prior year, plus current year
- English teacher recommendation
- Math teacher recommendation

Rolling Decisions

While Sanford offers rolling admission, our ninth and tenth grades are in high demand each year. Families are strongly encouraged to complete the application process by Monday, January 4, 2027.

Families in need of financial assistance should apply for admission and financial aid at the same time.
