Sanford Performing Arts
Theater at Sanford School
Formed to provide outstanding drama education to Sanford School students, Sanford Performing Arts performs two auditioned productions yearly, a comedic or dramatic play in November (open to grades 9–12) and a musical in February (open to grades 7-12).
Opportunities exist for actors, stage crew members, and students seeking leadership positions, as our stage crew program is student-led. Though typically suited for students in grades 7–12, the musical selection sometimes calls for participation from our younger students.
Our high-caliber productions take place in our professional Rubin Family Theater inside the Geipel Center for Performing Arts. There’s not a bad seat in the house! Please look at what Sanford is performing, and join us for our star-quality productions!
