  • Liv Lefkon ’27 Earns National Recognition in Scholastic Writing Awards

    We are thrilled to announce that Liv Lefkon ’27 has been named a 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards National Winner for her critical essay “Ignorance is Bliss Privilege.” Liv earned one of only two national Gold Medals in writing awarded in Delaware and is the state’s sole recipient of the American Voices Medal, which includes scholarship funds.

  • Team Rally: Sanford Students Create App to Connect College Students

    Sanford students Ajay D’Souza ’27, Claire Fang ’28, and Mia Haydu ’29 were part of Team Rally, a student-built platform connecting college students through pickup sports. Mentored by Mona Singh, mother of Sanford alum Rai Kahlon ’24, Rally was chosen from 1,845 teams worldwide to advance to the regional Diamond Challenge at the University of Delaware’s Horn School of Entrepreneurship, finishing among the Top 20.

  • Sanford Students Earn Design Award at FIRST Tech Challenge

    Nico Mucchetti '27, Walter Fiechter '29, and Teddy Ketcham '30, put their engineering and coding skills to the test at this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge DECODE competition, building a robot that could pick up small game pieces and launch them into a goal, autonomously for 30 seconds, then manually for two minutes.
