Honors Scholars
Sanford School’s Honors Scholars program offers merit-based scholarships each year to middle school students new to Sanford who have distinguished themselves as outstanding scholars and displayed excellent citizenship and leadership in their current schools.

Admission testing is only required for those candidates interested in applying for the Honor's Scholar program or the Leadership Scholar's program.
Sanford accepts ISEE, SSAT, and ERB score reports. If your child has taken one of these exams at their current school within the last academic year, we will accept these results.
If not, please register for the test event option that works best for your family. Register at least 3 weeks in advance to avoid late fees.

Leadership Scholars
Our Leadership Scholars will be chosen from students new to Sanford in the ninth or tenth grades who have distinguished themselves as superior scholars and leaders in their current schools.

Sanford Scholars
Our Sanford Scholars will be chosen from students returning to Sanford for ninth grade who have set themselves apart from the class as outstanding scholars and leaders in the Sanford community.
