The Nancy Churchman Sawin Math/Science Center opened in 1969 and is dedicated in honor of Nancy, the daughter of Sanford’s founder, and the second Head of School.
The Edward E. Ford Foundation and Sanford's Home and School Association provided funding to enhance the biology and physics laboratories, which were reconstructed and re-dedicated on Founder’s Day, September 24, 2001.
