Originally, there were two dorms on the site of what is now one building housing the middle school, grades 5–8. The dorms were called Town House and Wilson Hall. In the 1990s, thanks to the Reach for the Stars campaign, the two buildings were joined, and a much-needed library and office space were built. A plaque on the end of Wilson Hall reads:

WILSON HALL
This building was completed in 1968 and served as a dormitory until it became the Middle School in 1979.

A new plaque reads:

Wilson Hall was made possible by two generous benefactors:
BROWNLOW AND JOY WILSON
in honor of their five children
Douglas Brownlow Wilson ’47
Jane Doris Wilson ’50
Mona Joy Wilson Michael ’51
Wendy Yvonne Wilson Greer ’54
Harold David Wilson ’57
