Kahlon '24 and D'Souza '24 win Medicine & Health category at the New Castle County Science Fair!
Two Sanford juniors were recognized with top awards: Amanrai (Rai) Kahlon won 1st place, and Rahul D'Souza won 3rd place in the Medicine & Health category. Rai also won the Agilent Technologies Award for "Best in Show: Most Likely to Improve the Human Condition." The boys move on to compete in the multi-state Delaware Valley Science Fair in Exton, PA, this week. Rai will also present in the state's BioGENEius competition this week.
Both boys would like to thank Ms. Hull for her assistance in the science fair process. Rai's research project was "Gait Assessment with IMUs: Similarity and Dissimilarity of Walking Gait Reflected in Lower Limb Angular Velocity and Acceleration in Typically Developing Children," and Rahul's research project was "Length of Hospital Stay in Orthopedic Patients."
