Girls Basketball 2023 DIAA State Champions

On Friday, March 10, 2023, Sanford's Girls' Basketball Team, who led an undefeated season in Delaware, won its sixth DIAA Girls' Basketball championship. The final score was Sanford Warriors 58 - Ursuline Raiders 46.

This is Head Coach Marcus Thompson's '85 fifth state championship.

Dallas Pierce ‘23 was named Delaware 2023 Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Dallas reached 1,000 career points with her final free throw of the Championship game.
