Lilliana Xu ‘30 Wins Bronze Medal at MathCON Finals

Congratulations to Sanford middle schooler Lilliana Xu ‘30 for her outstanding achievement as a finalist in the MathCON competition, where she won a bronze medal!
Traveling to Chicago for the finals, Lilliana not only showcased her exceptional math skills but also took the opportunity to explore the vibrant city, visit museums, and enjoy the local cuisine. This achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication to mathematics.

MathCON is a pioneering mathematics platform that offers a series of competitions and educational resources for students and educators alike. Its mission is to enrich math education and build a collaborative community to support and advocate for STEM education in the U.S. This year's National MathCON Finals, held at McCormick Place in Chicago, brought together over 600 of the brightest mathletes from across the nation to compete and demonstrate their problem-solving skills. MathCON's vision is to pave the way for a new generation of problem-solvers ready to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.
