Sanford News Network Goes Live
The upper school's new Sanford News Network team has developed a student-produced website and a full-color newsmagazine, and plans are underway to relaunch Sanford Radio.
To access the website, The Log, select "Sanford News Network" under My Sanford on our website. Students have been busy producing video packages on Punkin Chunkin, new faculty, homecoming, events, and people of interest. Don't forget to "like" The Log on Facebook while you're visiting the site.
The newsmagazine, The Seed, is available online and in print. If you would like a print copy of the publication, pick one up at any of our division offices.
In preparation for the relaunch of Sanford Radio, the Sanford News Network team is conducting a "Sanford Idol" contest. Upper school students and faculty from all three divisions may enter by recording a vocal or instrumental song in the radio room located in Stephen May Hall. Those who are interested in competing should schedule a visit to the radio room with John Fritz in the next two weeks. Contestants are welcome to bring backing music if singing or instruments if playing. Each contestant's performance will be recorded and posted on the website where voting will begin after Winter Break. Everyone is invited to vote.
