How to Apply

Middle School

Admission Process for Grade 5:


1.  Complete the application - (online or paper version).
2.  Request the following school documents from your child's school (online or paper versions available).
  • Teacher recommendation - to be completed by a current teacher
  • School Official Report - to be completed by your child's counselor, principal, or vice principal
  • Transcript/reports cards from prior year, plus current year
3.  Schedule a student visit day.

Admission Process for Grades 6-8:

1.  Complete the application - (online or paper version).
2.  Request the following documents from your child's school:
  • English teacher recommendation - to be completed by a current teacher
  • Math teacher recommendation- to be completed by a current teacher
  • School Official Report - to be completed by your child's counselor, principal, or vice principal
  • Transcript/reports cards from prior year, plus current year
3.  Schedule a student visit day.

Rolling Decisions

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis once the Admission Committee has reviewed the candidate's complete admission file.

Families are asked to reply to an offer of admission by the date specified on the enrollment agreement.
Please use your email address to log into mySANFORD HUB, where you will gain access to the online application and your admission checklist. If your email address is already in our system, please click the "forgot password" link.  Contact Ceil Baum in the Admission office at 302.235.6503 if you have any questions about this process.
The online application automatically saves your information, so you do not have to complete the application in one sitting; you can come back to it later.
