(10:00 AM-12:00 PM)
Families are invited to participate in meaningful service opportunities on campus to honor and celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. On-campus activities will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be stations for the following activities:
Assembling hygiene kits for individuals experiencing homelessness
Preparing bagged lunches to alleviate immediate and local food insecurity needs
Sort clothing donations for the Clothing Bank of Delaware
Writing encouraging letters for individuals experiencing difficult times, like isolated seniors and other individuals in need of support.
Assembling duffel bags for children in foster care
Making bracelets for Helen Graham Cancer Center patients
Please consider making a donation or volunteering your time:
We are collecting donations for hygiene kit materials, bagged lunch supplies, clothing, duffel bags for Kind to Kids, and materials for the Helen Graham Cancer Center bracelets. Please use
this link to sign up for donations. Donations can be dropped off at the front office in each division through January 16.
An easy way to participate is to donate gently used clothes that your family has outgrown!
We are asking for volunteers between 9:15 AM and 12:45 PM to help with set up, managing stations, and clean up. Scroll down to the bottom of
