Sanford Students Awarded Scholastic Writing Awards

Congratulations to the five Sanford students who were awarded Scholastic Writing Awards!

Ada Henry '26 was awarded two Gold Keys in Poetry for "Invisibility" and "Apocalypse" and a Silver Key in Personal Essay & Memoir category for "Becoming No One"

Adithi Chandra '26 was awarded a Gold Key in the Humor category for "A Guide to Premeditated Kidnapping for Santa Claus"

Catherine Shapiro '24 was awarded a Gold Key in the Personal Essay & Memoir category for "An Island in the Sea of Time"

Emelie Cummins '24 was awarded a Gold Key in Flash Fiction for "Peculiar" and received two Honorable Mentions in Poetry for "Icarus, Hold My Hand" and “Please"

Paidyn Moore '23 was awarded a Silver Key in the Personal Essay & Memoir category for “The Weasel Table"
