Welcome Tanya Domenick, Director of Development

Sanford School is proud to welcome Tanya Domenick as our new Director of Development. With over 30 years of experience in relationship-building and mission-driven leadership, Tanya will lead fundraising, alumni and parent engagement, and philanthropic initiatives to support Sanford’s community and enduring mission.

Dear Sanford Community,

I am pleased to announce that Tanya Domenick has been appointed as our new Director of Development, effective July 7, 2025.

Tanya brings a wealth of experience in relationship building, strategic talent advising, and mission-driven leadership to our community. As a human resources professional, she has dedicated her career to connecting people with purpose. This drive will foster a culture that supports Sanford’s commitment to educational excellence and community values.

Tanya earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Rutgers University. Her impressive background includes impactful roles in human resources strategy, diversity, opportunity, and inclusion (DOI) initiatives, and organizational leadership within the financial services sector. For 30 years, Tanya has been a thoughtful connector and collaborator. She is known for her ability to build trust and inspire action, resulting in meaningful partnerships and sustainable results across diverse organizations.

In her role at Sanford, Tanya will help promote and strengthen the school’s culture of philanthropy, bringing creative ideas and strategic insight to fundraising, donor communications, and alumni and parent engagement. Her dedication to advancing Sanford’s mission will ensure that every member of our community feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Tanya shares, “I am so thankful for this opportunity to join the Sanford community. The last two years of watching our daughter, Gabriela ’27, thrive have been remarkable. Knowing the impact Sanford has had on our family in such a brief time has given me fuel to help provide this education and culture to others. I am honored to help enhance the future of children in our area and celebrate No Talent Lies Latent.

Tanya enjoys spending time with her husband, Ellio, and their four children: Gabriela ’27, Sienna, Ellio, and Viviana. Her office is always filled with sunshine, so stop by for homemade treats, fresh flowers, and succulents.

We are thrilled to welcome Tanya into this leadership role. We are confident that her passion, warmth, and vision will help shape a bright future for Sanford.

Warmly,

Jaime Morgan ’02
