Bauguess Selected for National LAX Tournament

Sanford freshman Xander Bauguess joins Tommy Bloom and Tim Lucky in being selected for the 2018 All-American National Lacrosse Tournament that will be held July 16–19, 2018. These talented players will join other high school standouts as they face teams from across the United States and Canada.
Xander has also been selected to participate in the Cascade National Prospect Elite 80 on July 11th and 12th in Frederica, Delaware at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex. This event will feature the top 80 student-athletes in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 graduating classes. Entering its third summer, the 2017 event was SOLD OUT and featured players from 27 states and Canada.

Upon learning of Xander's achievements, Sanford Athletic Director Joan Samonisky shared: "What a thrill to have Xander join his teammates, Tommy Bloom and Timmy Lucky, in the 2018 All-American National Lacrosse Tournament. To be recognized as a top freshman lacrosse prospect in the state of Delaware is quite an honor for Xander. As he does on the Sanford campus, I know that Xander will represent himself, and Sanford School, with honor and pride. Congratulations to Xander on this outstanding achievement."
