Service Club Supports Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Upper School Service Club is participating in the annual Thanksgiving food drive sponsored by the Caesar Rodney Rotary Club and Catholic Charities.
During this event, non-perishable food is collected and placed along with turkeys in Thanksgiving baskets. At the end of the collection period, the Rotary Club and Catholic Charities distribute the baskets to families in need throughout our community.

The Sanford community is invited to support this effort by placing food in school collection boxes now through Friday, November 10th. Boxes are located in buildings in all three divisions. Suggested donation items include cranberry sauce, cereal, oatmeal, canned tuna, pasta/sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruit, boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, candy, snacks, rice, gravy, juice, and soup.

Supporting the food drive is just one of the many initiatives conducted by the Service Club every year. Their work, on and off campus, improves and enriches the lives of members in our local and global communities.
