Sanford Lacrosse Players Selected for National Tournament
Sanford student-athletes Tommy Bloom and Tim Lucky have been selected to represent the state of Delaware in the 2018 All-American National Lacrosse Tournament that will be held July 16–19, 2018. These talented players will join other Delaware high school standouts as they face teams from across the United States and Canada.
Athletic Director Joan Samonisky stated: “What an honor for Tommy and Tim to have been chosen as part of this elite group of Delaware high school lacrosse players. All of us at Sanford wish them great success at the national tournament.”
The event is in its 11th year and is sponsored by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) and the National Lacrosse Classic. It is extremely competitive and provides participants with exposure to the next level of play and an Olympic-style lacrosse experience.
