2026 Yearbook & Dedication

Elise Burke Parcha
When senior Yearbook Editors Rowan Doyle ’26 and Emily Everhart ’26 dedicated this year’s yearbook, they reflected on the vision that guided the project: creating something deeply personal that would transport readers back to the joyful shared experiences of their time at Sanford.
In keeping with that vision, it was especially fitting to dedicate this year’s yearbook to Director of Enrollment Management Christine DiUbaldo, a beloved and deeply influential member of the Sanford community whose impact spans from her former Lower School classroom to Sanford Hall and beyond.

The yearbook takes on a scrapbook-inspired design: layered, handcrafted, and intentionally personal. Its theme, “Forever Memories,” appears in Christine’s handwriting, a detail that threads her presence through the book. For editors, the choice of dedicatee is a real responsibility. “We have a staff that contributes so much to the school each and every day, so picking just one person to dedicate the yearbook to is always a difficult and thoughtful process,” Emily explained, but Mrs. DiUbaldo stood out immediately. “Her joy and love for the school are infectious.”

That impact extends well beyond a single role. As Head of School Jaime Morgan ’02 reflected, “Christine has simply found a larger classroom. One whose walls stretch to encompass every family considering Sanford and every child who might one day call this place home.”

Few understand that legacy more personally than her daughter, Sophia DiUbaldo ’20: “To me, she’s mom, but to Sanford, she’s more than a title or a job description,” Sophia shared. “She’s someone students rely on, someone a parent can trust, and her relentless dedication to this place makes her who she is.”

Reflecting on her mother’s years of service, Sophia spoke to the extraordinary care behind that commitment. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how much energy, love, and patience it takes to give that much of yourself to a community for years,” she said. “Sanford helped shape her family, but my mom has helped shape Sanford, too.”

Whether in the classroom, welcoming new families, or uplifting the school behind the scenes, that sense of care is felt daily, leaving a lasting imprint on the Sanford community across generations. Through the pages of “Forever Memories", the Class of 2026, including her son, Joey, celebrates Christine DiUbaldo’s enduring legacy throughout her years at Sanford.
