Sanford students Ajay D’Souza ’27, Claire Fang ’28, and Mia Haydu ’29 were part of Team Rally, a student-built platform connecting college students through pickup sports. Mentored by Mona Singh, mother of Sanford alum Rai Kahlon ’24, Rally was chosen from 1,845 teams worldwide to advance to the regional Diamond Challenge at the University of Delaware’s Horn School of Entrepreneurship, finishing among the Top 20.
Nico Mucchetti '27, Walter Fiechter '29, and Teddy Ketcham '30, put their engineering and coding skills to the test at this year’s FIRST Tech Challenge DECODE competition, building a robot that could pick up small game pieces and launch them into a goal, autonomously for 30 seconds, then manually for two minutes.
