Our Warriors gave us plenty to cheer about this season!

Sam Russell '29 capped off a strong tennis season as the DIAA Runner-Up in first singles at the State Championship, and both our girls' soccer and baseball teams upset the number-one seed in their brackets to reach the semifinals of their respective tournaments.

Special Recognition

Congratulations to Brie Wilson '26, who was named the Third-Place Female Recipient of the 2026 DIAA Senior Scholar-Athlete Harry Roberts Award. Awarded by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association in memory of Dr. Harry Roberts, this honor recognizes graduating student-athletes from across the state who excel in the classroom, on the field, and as leaders in their school and community. Recipients must earn varsity letters in two different sports, maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, and demonstrate a strong record of leadership, a rare combination that reflects true, well-rounded excellence. Brie follows in the footsteps of fellow Sanford alums Katherine Zabel '21, Spencer Zbranak '21, and Gabriela Hunt '19.
